Night 3 of No Sleep

OK, this waking up every hour thing is getting a bit old now. So far, we have tried swaddling him differently and keeping him awake longer during the day. I figured that if I let him wiggle his arms out of the blanket he could suck or chew on his fingers as needed and he might be able to soothe himself back to sleep that way. Nope! Night 4, I think that I might try some more white noise in the room and see if that helps. The funny thing is, he isn't showing any signs of being sleep deprived. He is as happy as a lark during the day making noises and smiling at me. It is just me that is sleep deprived.

  1. With the drooling and now this, I'd be willing to bet your little guy has a tooth coming. Just a speculation though. If it makes you feel any better, poor David finally got up at 5 am and slept the next two hours on the couch, because Elliott insisted on adding sound effects (gulp "AH", gulp "AH") to his feeding and then decided he was awake for the morning. Poor Daddy.

  2. I was thinking the same thing might be happening. Poor David! Bradley used to squeak when he ate. It was actually pretty loud too! He doesnt do that anymore which is nice because it would wake Scott up too.
