Good Morning!

Bradley's method of waking me up in the morning is better than any alarm clock I have ever had. I have been waking up to the sound of him cooing and squeaking. I get up and go into his room to see that he is looking around his room "talking" to his mobile or to the clouds that Auntie Tabitha painted on his walls (by the way, he loves the rocket ship). The moment he sees me is even better because he smiles and squirms around, gives a big stretch, and keeps chatting away. What a happy baby! I scoop him up and he snuggles into my arms and all I want to do is give him big hugs and kisses. He loves playing "Superbaby" where I hold him like he is flying and we whoosh through the house. It must give him a different view on things and he is very nosy right now so he is all about it. We get a little play time in until he realizes that he is starving and cannot wait another minute to eat. That is essentially what our mornings are like together.

I am not sure if he is starting to recognize his name or if he just looks up when I talk to him but when I say "Bradley" he looks up from his toys and smiles at me. What a cutie!

  1. Evie wakes us up the same way! Only she's usually in bed between us (she has decided that she's too good for her crib) and she wakes up at about 5:30. But those big smiles make it totally worth it!

  2. It could be 2:30 in the morning and the smiles are still worth it!
